The Particles is a socially conscious alt rock band based in Oakland CA fronted by songster Scott Arey. A passionate entertainer, Scott wants to get under your skin. He puts his attitudes into sing-along tunes that follow you home. Their "Inhumanity" CD, currently being played on college stations around the country, deals with the darker sides of human nature the cruelty of children, the longing of love, the tears of fear, and fears of loss the inhumane, behavior some humans resort to. We are happy to report that we made it onto the KAOS show out of Ison Live Radio in Australia. In fact we are number one this week because of a request.
The new "Burst" CD explores the burst after the dotcom "boom", how it feels to go from being treated as creative genius to the status of wage slave. The loss of freedom to grow and expand in one's career can be as oppressive and debilitating as the cut in salary.
